Which discount can you give me for being a conscious traveller?
You will get a discount based on how much you can reduce the climate footprint of your travel to where you will meet us, compared to the climate footprint from flying to the destination. If you manage to reduce the climate footprint by 90% or more you will get the maximum discount of 20%.
Start by calculating the estimated impact of your journey by using the calculator below. The calculator will show different travel options, which you can adjust to the specifics of the travel modes that you have in mind (for example by choosing the size of the car that you intend to use and if it’s an electric car).
Take note of the emission numbers for the modes of travel that you have planned, and the default flight alternative. You can now calculate the discount rate by inserting the numbers into the data fields below.
Please inform us about your travel plan and the calculated discount rate before you do the final payment – we will reduce the amount that you have to pay.
Is sustainable tourism possible?
Maybe not, at least not in the way tourism is done today. But we think that there is room for tourism in the sustainable society of tomorrow.
By doing activities and having experiences closer to home, combined with using transport alternatives that have a low footprint on the enviroment, you can still do the things that you enjoy without contributing to a warmer world and shorter winters.
