- Visit 3 different ski resorts in Norway and Sweden in 3 days.
- Ride some of the best lift-accessed off-piste skiing and snowboarding to be found north of the Arctic Circle.

Description
The Arctic Ski Resorts are Narvik, Riksgränsen and Björkliden – three unique resorts by the Norwegian-Swedish border high above the Arctic Circle. Visiting them offers a unique and limitless skiing experience for those seeking the best Arctic skiing, combining coastal landscapes, urban city life, untouched wilderness, and high mountain terrain.
In combination the resorts have 17 lifts and 44 groomed slopes. The off-piste areas are nearly endless and have some of the best lift-accessed terrain that you can find in Scandinavia. By using a local guide you will be able to find the best snow and runs that are difficult to find on your own. We only use highly qualified guides that know the resorts and and know how to manage the risk of avalanches.
You can choose between accommodation in urban Narvik, trendy Riksgränsen or family-friendly Björkliden. If the weather allows it, we will visit all of the resorts during our days together. We will use the free transfer bus for transport between the resorts. From Narvik in the west to Björkliden in the east, it is only a one hour bus ride.
Meet the resorts
Narvik
Narvik is a coastal, urban ski resort with a unique location at the inner end of the deep Ofotfjord. The skiing experience ranges from technically challenging, high-quality groomed slopes, lift-accessed off-piste areas, and backcountry terrain, to terrain parks and beginner-friendly zones. The stunning surroundings, with the sea, nearby mountain ranges, and the city in close proximity, add an extra dimension to the skiing experience that you’ll never forget!
Riksgränsen
Riksgränsen, Sweden’s northernmost and most legendary ski resort, offers a sense of freedom, natural snow, and varied terrain. With a wide range of both groomed slopes and off-piste areas, it caters to all levels of skiers. Located in the spectacular mountain region on the border between Sweden and Norway, just 45 minutes from Narvik, the resort is renowned for its excellent and stable snow conditions, making it a prime destination for off-piste skiing.
Björkliden
Björkliden Fjällby is located 250 km north of the Arctic Circle, between Narvik and Kiruna, beneath the 1,316-meter-high Kappastjaro. Situated in the heart of Swedish Lapland, it offers authentic wilderness experiences year-round, both in summer and winter. The resort features slopes of all levels, along with vast areas for off-piste skiing. Björkliden is 70 km from Narvik, connected by the spectacular Ofoten Railway and the E10 highway.
Level of difficulty
We will adapt the difficulty to the group’s wishes and abilities, but you must have basic touring experience and skiing or splitboarding abilities so that you can manage different types of snow conditions in off-piste terrain.
