Advanced avalanche course

A two and a half day course where you will further develop your skill set to travel and ski safely in avalanche terrain.

In the advanced course we repeat the skills learnt in the basic course, before deepening our knowledge on snow transformation and how the avalanche risk changes with the weather. We also learn how to dig snow profiles and to perform basic stability tests.

We will have a very practical approach in the course and learn while doing some proper skiing and ski touring. In the course you will get the opportunity to make decisions and get valuable feedback from the group and course leader.
