Basic avalanche course

A two and a half day course where you will learn the basics about how to travel and ski safely in avalanche terrain.

In the course we will focus on understanding why and where avalanches happen, how to use the avalanche bulletin for planning where to ski and how to act in case there has been an avalanche incident.

We will learn while doing lift-accessed backcountry skiing or ski touring, to make your new skills more relevant for the activities you will do after the course. It will also make it more fun!
