Description
There are several options for ski touring directly from the city of Narvik. Our guides will find an option where the current snow conditions are good, and with a difficulty level that is suitable for the experience and skill level of the participants.
On this half day ski tour you will get the opportunity to try ski touring (maybe for the first time) and to improve your skills. We will move through a landscape with breathtaking views over the fjords and surrounding mountains.
On our tour we will take a longer break, where we sit down and have a hot drink and some snacks.
If the weather and snow conditions are favourable, we will try to reach the summit of a mountain, before we start skiing down.
Level of difficulty
We will adapt the difficulty to the group’s wishes and abilities, but you must have some basic skiing experience and be able to ski blue slopes.
Dates
We offer a half day of ski touring from the beginning of December to the end of February in 2027. The tour starts at 10:00 and is finished at approximately 14:00.
You will join an open group with up to 6 participants. Please contact us if you prefer to have a private guide!
Price
NOK 1 950/person
Included in the price:
- A trained guide that knows the area.
- First aid and safety equipment (carried by the guide).
- Transport (with a modern electrical minivan) to the start of the ski tour, up to 5 minutes of driving from the meeting point.
- A hot drink and some snacks.
- A lift ticket with the gondola (if we choose to use a touring option close to the gondola).
Not included in the price:
- Personal ski touring gear and clothing (ski touring gear can be rented).
Practical information
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
— Boots and skis or split board for touring
— Ski poles and ascension skins
— Clothing for ski touring (bring a warm jacket to keep you warm when we have a break)
— A small backpack (at least 10-20 litres)
— Helmet

The event is insured under the liability insurance of the organizer, but each participant is strongly encouraged to have a personal insurance/travel insurance to cover any damages or injuries that may happen.
